Three defining works of Surrealist photography by Man Ray become a trio of new limited edition prints, in collaboration with his Estate.

These works span Man Ray's most celebrated works from 1920s Paris. Le Violon d'Ingres (1924) features his muse Kiki de Montparnasse transformed into a violin through painted f-holes on her back, created using Man Ray's innovative rayograph technique. Noire et Blanche (1926) pairs Kiki's elegant profile with an African Baule mask in a composition that appeared in Paris Vogue and became an epoch-defining image of modernist photography. Larmes de Verre (1932) shows a model gazing upward, crying glistening glass beads – a haunting portrait created around the time of Man Ray's breakup with photographer Lee Miller.

Each limited edition print features a matte varnish seal and bespoke debossed archive stamp, carefully crafted by our expert printmakers at our London fine art print studio, Make-Ready.
