An iconic Surrealist portrait by Man Ray becomes a new limited edition print, in collaboration with his Estate.

This edition is based on Larmes (Tears), originally photographed around 1932 during Man Ray's time in Paris. The haunting image shows a model gazing upward, crying tears of glistening glass beads. Created around the time of Man Ray's breakup with photographer Lee Miller, the work exemplifies his radical and emotive approach to photography that helped shape both Dada and Surrealism. Man Ray considered this one of his most successful photographs, featuring it prominently in his 1934 photographic book.

This limited edition print features a matte varnish seal and bespoke debossed archive stamp, carefully crafted by our expert printmakers at our London fine art print studio, Make-Ready.
