Shirin Neshat employs her signature calligraphy and photography combination in a new limited edition print based on one of the artist’s most important works. It is finished with a separate silkscreen layer of Farsi, handwritten by Shirin.

This edition sits within the conceptual period of the artist’s seminal Women of Allah (1993-1997) series, a body of work that unpacks the interconnected nature of women’s bodies and political ideology.

  • I was lucky enough to have been invited to see the creation of this piece of work back in June and met the fantastic Miwa so seeing this print now is just fantastic. The colours are every bit as vibrant as the original.

  • Art arrived in pristine condition with relevant handling instructions. Bulletproof packaging and white gloves were a welcome surprise.

  • Having purchased many items from outside NZ, I can say with sincerity, that the communications, packaging and delivery have been exemplary! A copybook experience for an online, overseas art purchase. Thank you!
